Have you ever set a big goal—maybe to get healthier, grow your business, or deepen your faith—only to feel stuck a few weeks in? I’ve been there. And what I’ve learned is this:
“Success doesn’t come from what we do occasionally. It comes from what we do consistently.” Marie Forleo
That’s why I created the My Daily 7 Habits framework—a simple but powerful daily practice that, when done consistently for 90 days, can move you significantly closer to your goals.
Whether you’re striving to build a business, nurture your family, improve your health, or live with more purpose, your daily habits matter more than you think. Let’s walk through how to create your personal set of 7 daily habits that will create real momentum in your life.
Step 1: Revisit Your Vision + Goals
Before we jump into creating your daily habits, pause and reconnect with your big picture.
- What is your vision for this season?
- What goals are you working toward over the next 90 days?
- How do you want to feel at the end of this?
Write these out. Clarity is power. These answers will guide which habits you choose moving forward.
Step 2: Identify Your Growth Areas
Now, think about the areas of your life where you’re craving growth or consistency. These might include:
- Faith or spiritual connection
- Health and wellness
- Marriage or relationships
- Business or career
- Financial stewardship
- Mindset or emotional well-being
- Personal development
Pick 2-3 key areas that will help support your overall goals.
Step 3: Choose Your Daily 7 Habits
Here’s where the magic happens.
Now that you’ve identified your vision, goals, and key areas of growth—it’s time to choose the 7 daily habits that will support them. These aren’t just random good habits. They should be directly connected to where you want to go and who you want to become.
Ask yourself:
- What small, consistent actions will move me closer to my specific goals?
- What habits would help me stay aligned with my vision—physically, emotionally, spiritually, or professionally?
These habits don’t need to be huge. Think small, doable, and meaningful—but make them strategic.
Examples:
- If your goal is to improve your health, your habit might be “Drink 100 oz of water” or “Prep lunch at home.”
- If your vision includes growing a business, it might be “Connect with one potential customer daily.”
- If deepening your faith is a key area, it could be “Morning quiet time with Scripture and prayer.”
Your Daily 7 should reflect what matters most right now.
Choose habits that are simple enough to complete daily, but specific enough to make a measurable impact over time.
This is how your habits become a bridge from where you are to where you want to be.
Pro Tip: Choose habits you can realistically complete in 5–30 minutes. The goal is consistency, not perfection.
Step 4: Track Your Habits Daily
Print a 90-day tracker, use a habit app, or jot them in your iBloom Planner. The key is to visually track your progress. This creates accountability and helps you see momentum building—even when results feel slow.
And remember: progress over perfection. Missing a day isn’t failure. Just don’t miss two.
Step 5: Reflect and Refine
Every few weeks, pause and reflect:
- What habits are helping me move forward?
- Are any feeling forced, ineffective, or misaligned?
- Is there a habit I need to swap, simplify, or upgrade?
This isn’t a rigid checklist—it’s a living rhythm that grows with you.
Bonus: Stack Your Habits for Success
If you struggle to fit all 7 in each day, try “habit stacking.” Tie your new habit to something you already do.
For example:
- After I make my coffee, I’ll write down 3 things I’m grateful for.
- After my lunch break, I’ll go for a 10-minute walk.
- After I tuck in the kids, I’ll read a chapter of a personal growth book.
Little by little, these micro-habits begin to rewire your days and reshape your life.
Why This Works
The most successful women I know aren’t the busiest or the most “disciplined.” They are simply the most intentional.
Your Daily 7 Habits become the foundation for a life aligned with your vision and values. When you show up for these habits, you’re showing up for your future self.
