Have you ever noticed how easy it is to mentally check out as the year winds down?
The holidays are approaching, your calendar’s packed, and suddenly, that little voice whispers, “I’ll start fresh in January.”
But recently, one of my coaching clients reminded me that it doesn’t have to be that way.
She sent me a Voxer message saying she felt God nudging her to draw a line in the sand—to stop coasting through the rest of the year and decide:
“I’m going to make progress through the holidays.”
She’s right.
The year isn’t over yet—and neither are you.
There are 48 days left in 2025, and that means 48 opportunities to grow, to take small faithful steps, and to finish strong.
1. Reflect on the Year with Gratitude (Not Guilt)
Before you jump into what’s next, pause to look back.
Where have you seen God’s hand this year? What lessons have you learned?
This isn’t about beating yourself up for what didn’t happen—it’s about celebrating the progress you did make. Gratitude shifts your focus from what’s missing to what’s meaningful, and it creates momentum for what’s ahead.
2. Reconnect with Your Vision
Maybe you started the year with big dreams and clear goals, but life happened.
That’s okay.
Now’s the time to revisit your vision. What still matters most? What do you want your life to reflect by the end of this year?
You don’t need a massive overhaul—just a few intentional steps that align with who you’re becoming.
3. Choose One Area to Focus On
When you try to fix everything, you end up changing nothing.
Instead, pick one area of your life—faith, health, business, relationships—and ask:
“What’s one thing I can do consistently over the next 49 days that would make the biggest impact?”
Then commit to showing up for that one thing daily. Progress compounds.
4. Create a Simple Plan and Guard Your Time
Your time is your life. Be intentional with it.
You don’t have to fill every moment with productivity, but you can design your days with purpose.
Use your iBloom Planner to block time for what matters most—your quiet time, rest, connection, and the steps that will move your goals forward.
You’ll be amazed how peaceful life feels when you plan from a place of purpose instead of pressure.
5. Invite God Into Every Step
When you’re tempted to quit or coast, pause and pray:
“Lord, help me finish this year strong—with faith, focus, and joy.”
He’s not asking you to sprint to the finish line.
He’s inviting you to walk with Him, one day at a time, trusting that the small, steady steps you take now are preparing you for what’s ahead.
