Have you ever noticed how easy it is to drift through your days—reacting to whatever comes your way—rather than living from a place of intention? One moment, you’re energized and full of vision, and the next, you’re overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure where your time went.

Here’s the truth: you were never meant to live in constant chaos. God designed life with rhythms—day and night, work and rest, seasons of growth and seasons of stillness. When we align our daily routines with His design and our true priorities, we experience more peace, focus, and fruitfulness.

That’s where the idea of a Rhythm Reset comes in.

Step 1: Begin with God

Before you build a new schedule, pause and ask: Lord, what do You want my days to look like?
Your routine is not just about productivity—it’s about presence. Whether it’s starting your day with prayer and Scripture, or weaving moments of gratitude into your afternoon, anchoring your rhythm in God’s Word will keep you rooted when life gets full.

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33

Step 2: Clarify Your Priorities

If you don’t decide what matters most, everything will compete for your attention.
Take time to reflect on your current season:

  • What matters most to me right now?
  • What are my non-negotiables (faith, family, health, relationships, work)?
  • What can I let go of, even just for this season?

Writing these down will help you see what deserves space in your daily and weekly rhythms.

Step 3: Design Rhythms, Not Rigid Schedules

Life rarely fits into perfect blocks of time. Instead of forcing yourself into an unrealistic schedule, think about rhythms.

  • Morning Rhythm: Start with a faith habit (Scripture, prayer, journaling) before checking your phone.
  • Work Rhythm: Focus on your top 1–2 priorities each day before tackling smaller tasks.
  • Family Rhythm: Establish connection points—like dinner together, bedtime blessings, or weekend adventures.
  • Rest Rhythm: Set boundaries around technology, create a wind-down routine, and guard your Sabbath.

When your rhythms reflect your priorities, even interruptions won’t knock you off track as easily.

Step 4: Reset Regularly

A rhythm reset isn’t something you do once. Life changes—kids grow, work shifts, health needs change, seasons come and go. That’s why it’s important to pause every few months to reflect:

  • What’s working in my routines?
  • What’s draining me?
  • Where do I need to realign with God’s priorities?

This regular reset helps you stay intentional rather than slipping back into survival mode.

Step 5: Invite Accountability and Community

You weren’t meant to do this alone. Share your rhythms with a trusted friend, mentor, or community who can pray for you and keep you encouraged when you drift.

This is why we created the Dreamer Community—a space where women come together to align their lives with what matters most, reset their rhythms, and pursue God’s calling with clarity and courage.

Friend, your life has meaning. Your days don’t have to feel scattered or overwhelming. With a rhythm reset, you can create routines that truly reflect your faith and priorities—so you can live intentionally in every season.

  1. I usually purchase the IBloom Calendar/ planner every year.
It is the most inspiring and best I have ever seen. Still I have been so disorganized, undisciplined, scattered, exhausted I barely use it. I need help. Thank you for sharing your gift. I hope I can be disciplined & find time to engage in community I desperately need it. Please pray for me.

    1. Hi Janet! Thank you so much for sharing so honestly. First, please know you’re not alone—I think so many of us have been in that place of feeling scattered and exhausted. The good news is, God doesn’t ask us to be perfect—just willing to take the next small step. 💜

I’ll be praying for you! And please remember, the iBloom Planner isn’t meant to add pressure—it’s designed to support you as you find your rhythm again. Even starting with one simple habit (like writing down your top 3 priorities each day) can begin to bring peace and order back into your life.

We would love for you to join us in the Dreamer Community! You don’t have to do this alone. We’d love to walk alongside you and cheer you on as you create the life you were made for.

    2. You mention “I hope I can…” I have stopped using that thought, instead: “I will”. I have learned so much about being intentional from Kelly and iBloom. So thankful!!! Lena
