Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur

The Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur Book Review

My friend Shae Bynes has just released her new book, The Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur’s Guide: Doing Business God’s Way and it’s a must-read. In fact, while you’re ordering it, be sure to get my other favorite book from her, Grace over Grind. Both of these books have become pivotal in my spiritual journey and how I run my business. Since I started my business, I’ve always operated as a Christian based-business. However, Shae introduced me to a whole new level by showing me how to be fully dependent on God in all aspects of my business (and life).

Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur was a new concept to me and perhaps it is for you, too!

What is a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur?

Shae defines being a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur as “your entrepreneurial endeavors are motivated by seeing an increase of the Kingdom of God on earth, and they are propelled forward by seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. When you are a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur, it’s certainly not business as usual. Your business is fully yielded to God (The Ultimate Chief Executive Officer) and guided by Holy Spirit (the Ultimate Chief Operating Officer). You allow Jesus Christ to be Lord of your entrepreneurial journey by putting the King’s agenda first. You transition your heart of ‘Here are my plans, God. Bless them!’ to a heart that is aligned with God’s dream for your business. You seek His heart for the people you serve and cross paths with in the marketplace.”

Isn’t that amazing?! And, the best news is that through The Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur’s Guide: Doing Business God’s Way, Shae teaches us how to do just that. I have so much of my book highlighted, but here are a few quotes that really stood out.

My Favorite Quotes:

“The best news is that you have an awesome limitless God that desires to be involved intimately in your business as your top advisor, master strategist, and business partner. Holy Spirit is your guide to identifying and walking out your Kingdom-driven actions. Ideas alone (even God-inspired ones) do not bring success. Implementation of those ideas is what brings success. You simply cannot afford to be idle when it comes to your business.”

“There are people in the world who need you and are waiting for you on the other side of your diligence and faithful obedience!”

“The glory of God is revealed as you follow the guidance of Holy Spirit in your business through your daily operations and strategic decision making as a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur. Your obedience unlocks heaven’s resources and brings a manifestation of God’s blessing. Your obedience has ripple effects that impact the lives of many. Through your radical obedience, you will experience the miraculous move of God through your business that will astound you and others in your sphere of influence.”

“As a Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur, you have access to have unlimited supply of Heaven to provide everything that you need to do what God has called you to do.”

“Heaven’s economy beats the world’s economy every single time. Heavenly assets, when stewarded well, will unlock tremendous levels of growth and increase your Kingdom impact in ways beyond your imagination.”

The Kingdom Driven Entrepreneur’s Guide: Doing Business God’s Way is the manual to teach you how to do business God’s way. One of my FAVORITE things about Shae’s books is that they are short (100ish pages), but they are always packed full of wisdom that you can begin implementing immediately. This has become one of my favorite books and I think it will be yours, too!

I started off the year by reading “Grace over Grind”…. and I “loved” it. I had never heard of this author prior to this year and, honestly, I can’t remember how I stumbled upon her book. But, I am sooo glad I did! It has transformed the way I think about my business. I can’t wait to read TKDEG and begin putting the principles into action. Thanks for the encouragement, Kelly.
